Volunteer student positions in Hair Research
The laboratory regularly accepts volunteer undergraduate and
medical students who want to gain experience in conducting basic
research on hair
and
skin biology. Students should expect to work in the laboratory
for a minimum of 2 months and preferably 3-4 months. Typically,
students work on a small study that is part of a larger project.
Good results will form part of a peer reviewed medical journal
publication with the student acknowledged as a co-author. These
short term volunteer positions usually do not include a stipend
for the volunteer student, but all laboratory research costs
are covered.
To apply as a volunteer student, send your CV and
latest course transcripts (unofficial transcripts are OK) to Dr
Kevin McElwee.
