Hair Research JOBS AND STUDENTSHIPS
As an academic research laboratory and clinic, one of our primary
objectives is education. The laboratory accepts research students
and
clinical fellows interested in hair research. The laboratory
regularly has vacancies for students and staff.
MSc STUDENTSHIPS
Graduates with BSc degrees or equivalent can study hair biology
and related skin cancers in the hair research laboratory and
enroll for a MSc degree through the Experimental Medicine Program
at the
University
of
British
Columbia. MSc students making good progress can switch into the
PhD program after one year.

PhD STUDENTSHIPS
Graduates with MSc degrees, or BSc degrees with excellent grades,
can directly enter the PhD program run by the University of British
Columbia Experimental Medicine Program.

research positions in hair or skin cancer biology.

SUMMER STUDENTS
Each year the hair research laboratory accepts BSc students
and first or second year medical students into the lab to conduct
2-3 month research projects.

People with BSc degrees or equivalent may be accepted as volunteers
in the laboratory to assist graduate students and postdoctoral
fellows in their research. Volunteer positions are available
as and when time and funding allows.
